Pikien Moiti (no trouble) will receive her first guests at july 15th. Ma ye du is building this accommodation together with Ana Makandi (regional organization), Katholic church Suriname and female organization Nason Noeman seeki Libie.

Pikien Moiti will start as a small accommodation and will develop into a location where 25 people can stay in hammocks, bedchuncks or small houses.

In the coming period Ma ye du will take small groups to Nason for an overnight stay. In the morning the guests can enjoy the flag ceremonies of the local school and in the evening guests can enjoy diner with a local family.

The purpose of Pikien Moiti is to stimulate the economic and tourist development in the area and make local people profit from the income and activity of this accommodation. The eco lodge will be build and maintained by locals. Furthermore alls sorts of activities will be organized or guided by local people.
